The Senior Football Academy Over 16

Academy players train for a minimum of 6 hours per week including Physical, mental, tactical and technical coaching. The sessions are lead by qualified and experienced coaches who have experience in non league, league and international football. As part of the Academy a gym session will take place once a week .

Football Training

The academy has teams playing in the Under 19's Kent Schools Football League, in the Premier, First and Second Divisions. Fixtures take place on a wednesday afternoon or saturday morning. Our academy squad also form the part of Margate FC & Faversham Reserve & under 18 teams in the Kent Leagues, this means they have competitive matches throughout the year on saturday afternoons. The academy also competes in cup competitions which involves schools from across England.

All academy players will be pupils of The Ursuline College and can study a range of courses from Nvq's, BTECS and other level 2 & 3 courses. Level 1 Coaching badges are also undertaken.
